Programs for Pregnant & Parenting Families

Active Parenting: First Five Years

Active Parenting: First Five Years is a parenting education program that works with parents and their children ages 0-5 on relationship improvement, mental health, and child well-being and behavior. Using a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, the understanding of emotion interacting with a child’s brain, and methods for academic success, our program’s goal is to achieve both kindergarten readiness and household well-being.

The main goal of the LAHMB program in Gila County, Arizona,is to support you and your baby in achieving a healthy beginning in life. Our goal is to minimize the risk of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) for all babies in Gila County by providing education and assistance through our case managers to families in need.

AIM 4 Teen Moms

AIM 4 Teen Moms (AIM4TM) is an evidence-based intervention to reduce rapid repeat pregnancies among teen moms by helping teen mothers define specific life aspirations, engage in planning to successfully achieve them, and consider the role of contraception in their lives.
