Helping you and your baby have a healthy start in life

The Linking Actions for Healthy Mothers & Babies (LAHMB) program provides support, education, and resources to pregnant and parenting families in Gila County, Arizona. From pregnancy education and caring case management to parenting support and essential baby supplies, LAHMB connects families with the tools and resources they need for a healthy start.

What is the LAHMB Program?

LAHMB is an all-encompassing support program designed to help pregnant and parenting families navigate pregnancy, prepare for parenthood, and give their babies a healthy start in life.

 

Whether you're early in your pregnancy or preparing for life with a new baby, LAHMB offers personalized support and connections to community resources based on your family's needs.

What We Offer

Caring Case Management
Receive personalized guidance and support throughout pregnancy and early parenthood.

Pregnancy Classes

Learn what to expect during pregnancy and prepare for your baby's arrival.

Parenting Classes

Build practical skills and confidence for caring for and connecting with your baby.

Breastfeeding Support

Get education and support to help you feel confident with breastfeeding.

Referral Services

Connect with community partners and specialized resources for additional support.

Wellness Packages*

Eligible participants can receive essential items to support a healthy start, including:

  • Free car seat and safety training

  • Free diapers

  • Free pack-and-play

  • Other items as available

Wellness packages are available upon completion of the program.

LAHMB is designed for pregnant and parenting families in Gila County who are looking for support, education, resources, or connections to community services.​​
