Wyman's Teen Outreach Program

Adolescence brings fast change — physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.

Wyman's Teen Outreach Program helps teens handle that change. Teens build social and emotional skills, grow a stronger sense of self, and form real connections with others. Through hands-on lessons and community service, they build life skills, boost their academic performance, and steer clear of risky behavior.

This program is free for youth.

How It Works

Every participant completes community service hours that teach the value of teamwork and helping others. Lessons use several teaching styles, so every teen learns in the way that works best for them.

Held at group homes, schools, and community centers
Runs 32 weeks, with the same instructors all school year
Open to ages 11–19, grades 6–12
Funded by a grant from the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS)

100% of youth surveyed learned new life skills
95% felt they made a positive difference through their service projects
Serves over 155 youth each year

Availability

Most of our TOP clubs run inside schools and are not open for outside registration. From time to time, we offer clubs at our office or other community spaces that are open to the public. To register for one of these clubs, use the button below.
