Start Making Your Family Stronger

The Strengthening Families Program is designed to help families build stronger, more positive relationships, with a special focus on strengthening connections between parents and youth. In a supportive and welcoming environment, families come together to share a meal, engage in meaningful conversations, and develop skills that can help them navigate challenges and work toward their individual and family goals.

What is the Strengthening Families Program?

Families can expect a fun, interactive experience where parents and youth learn together through engaging activities, cross-cultural teaching, and videos that demonstrate real parent-child interactions. The rigorously evaluated program uses user-friendly materials to help families prepare for the transition to the teen years—all in a welcoming environment that includes a free dinner.

Included in our 8 week cohort we provide free substance abuse trainings to help parents and youth be more informed on the current opioid crisis.

Rx360 is a research-based curriculum to raise awareness of the Rx problem, the risks of misuse, resistance strategies, and methods for proper storage and disposal. The training has three different modules: Youth (middle/high school), Parents, and Community.
