Loving My Future
The Loving My Future program fills service gaps for particularly vulnerable Arizona high school youth populations by teaching Sexual Risk Avoidance and positive youth development activities. These activities significantly reduce the teen’s risk for unplanned pregnancy through increasing their skills to help them avoid sexual activity. We believe that healthy relationships are the basis for success, including career success.
In partnership with Pima Prevention Partnership, a trained Pathways coach will deliver the program to up to 20 youth. Youth will receive training in first aid, learn about healthy relationships, develop a career plan and participate in a service-learning project. Money Habitudes, a financial literacy curriculum will help youth evaluate their beliefs and opinions about money and learn budgeting skills. All participants in the program will receive First Aid/CPR certification.
The program will also use the Love Notes curriculum
