Youth Tobacco Coalitions

From Parker to Globe/Miami, the Arizona Department of Health Services-Bureau of Tobacco and Chronic Disease (ADHS-BTCD) is working to train youth leadership and advocacy skills to continue to reduce smoking rates in Arizona for youth, and then, adults. This funding flows from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to the State (ADHS-BTCD) and to our partnering contractor, Pima Prevention Partnership (PPP). This three-party collaboration, including Amistades in Tucson, reaches across counties and Tribes to establish localized action around the public health risks of smoke, second-hand smoke and chewed or inhaled carcinogens. Please take some to time visit STANDAZ.org to see what our youth are up to!
