Technical Assistance and Training

Arizona Youth Partnership employees a wide variety of personnel able to train or provide technical assistance to your organization. We can bring one- to four-day workshops on Prevention Foundations, by a Federal Trainer, Tammany McDaniel. We also have qualified staff who can train in Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPTS), SafeTALK, Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR), Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and Strengthening Families. Our staff are able to bring specialized training to your organization on community development, theories of change and environmental strategies.

 

Tammany McDaniel, Director of Community Initiatives is a Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Trainer for the Western CAPT and the State of Arizona. She is also a Drug-Endangered Children Trainer for Native American populations in behalf of the National Advocacy Center (NAC). Mrs. McDaniel also trains and coaches prevention personnel please contact her for more information and an itemized listing of subjects.

 

Mary Anne Fout, Community Development Coordinator-Marana is an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), safeTALK and Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) Trainer for the State of Arizona.
